Nicholas has an entrepreneurial background in Hedge Fund Asset Management and Fintech. His expertise is in quant, big data, artificial intelligence, portfolio management, risk-management, large institutional relationships and company building. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and a BS in Economics from the University of Cologne. His entrepreneurial ventures include: A private bank startup in Zurich in the 90’s, 13 years of global institutional built-up at E.I.M. Group (later Gottex, LumX), a 15Bn AUM Multi-Manager Hedge Fund, an award-winning Swiss startup in big data & artificial intelligence, an asset management startup focusing on the privatization of state-owned enterprises in South East Asia and Switzerland’s first dedicated institutional P2P Platform Lending Fund which he launched in summer 2018.
